Scattered light showers expected through out the day in all parts of the country. day time temperature will be in between 25°C to 30°C. Heavy rain is expected in the afternoons and nights specially in Sabaragamuwa, Central and Uva provinces.
The Meteorological Department today advised the fishing and naval community to refrain from maritime activities in these seas off the coast extending from Mannar to Trincomalee via Jaffna as it will be very rough with very strong winds and intermittent rain.
